Expression of Interest - Food Industry Innovation 2020, Birmingham

These are food innovation events building on the success of Food Industry Innovation 2018 and 2019.

Innovate UK and KTN are hosting a Food Industry Innovation Showcase in Birmingham. The event will concentrate on food technology innovation around plant-based and alternative proteins.

Keynote speaker: 

Ian Noble – Senior RDQ Director, Mondelez International and Head of Bournville Technology Centre, on the Challenges of Incorporating Alternative Protein in Products

The event builds on last year’s success, which saw more than 100 people and 15 exhibitors attend the London showcase. It will showcase some of the best FoodTech innovations funded by Innovate UK, providing inspiration for other innovators. Expert speakers will discuss challenges faced in their industries and potential solutions.

The event is a great opportunity to find out about the opportunities offered by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and to hear from FoodTech companies working on solutions across key areas for the industry.
