Overview
This event provides an opportunity to meet the Food Innovation Network team and access free information targeted to help you develop your business.

The Food Innovation Network’s (FIN) primary objective is to tackle the issues which are currently impeding innovation, productivity and growth in UK’s agri-food and drink businesses by joining-up and improving access to the right information, research, skills, expertise and business support mechanisms. Ultimately it is intended that the FIN will help the sector to increase its competitiveness and profitability, thereby contributing to the government’s long term plan for food and farming – i.e. to make the UK one of the world’s leading food nations.

This FIN event, hosted by Reading Scientific Services Ltd (RSSL), will provide delegates with information on product development, how to tackle challenges with allergen management, and tools for identification and prevention of physical and chemical contamination. There will also be presentations on Innovate UK funding opportunities, and a tour of the RSSL laboratory facilities.

Venue:
Reading Scientific Services Ltd (RSSL), Reading Enterprise Centre, University of Reading, Earley Gate, Whiteknights Road, Reading, RG6 6BU.

Parking: Free Parking on-site. Please either use the vacant parking spaces at the Reading Enterprise Centre or alternatively at Science & Technology Centre (next door). Please then report to Reading Enterprise Centre reception on arrival (with your registration number) to collect a parking permit, this will need to be left on display in your vehicle.

Laboratory Tour: Please ensure that you wear appropriate footwear (no open toe shoes, high heels, sandals or flip flops) for the tour.
