Innovate UK and Office for Low Emission Vehicles: R&D Update - Leeds
The Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) is working across Government to support the market for low and zero emission vehicles. They are providing £1.5 billion to position the UK at the global forefront of ultra-low emission vehicle development, manufacture and use. This will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution from our roads whilst contributing to economic growth. OLEV is part of the Department for Transport and the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
OLEV’s R&D programme, including the long running Integrated Delivery Programme (IDP), continues to be a vital part of a network of government support available to the UK’s automotive industry. Along with UKRI’s support for fundamental science, Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund programmes such as Faraday and Driving the Electric Revolution, and the Advanced Propulsion Centre’s late stage pre-commercialisation opportunities, it offers a complete pipeline of support for the development of innovative zero emission technologies.
Delegates will have the opportunity to network with organisations across the automotive supply chain and speak directly to OLEV and Innovate UK staff.
Organisations who have been involved in past or current Innovate UK competitions in the automotive space are encouraged to attend.
During the event there will be an opportunity for organisations to give a brief pitch on their technology advances and options for collaboration.
