As part of the Innovate UK Delivery Plan, Innovate UK is to invest up to £15 million in innovative projects in Emerging and Enabling Technologies. Innovate UK, The KTN, The Welsh Government together with the North Wales Photonics Launchpad are holding a Briefing in Wrexham on the next round of funding for the Emerging and Enabling Technologies.

This event will benefit:-

Proposals are sought that will kick-start collaboration between business and research organisations and that have substantial and scalable commercial potential.

As part of the Innovate UK Delivery Plan, Innovate UK is to invest up to £15 million in innovative projects that further R&D in Emerging and Enabling Technologies.

  • Energy harvesting
  • Graphene
  • New imaging technologies

Enabling technologies include:

  • Cyber security
  • Data
  • The internet of things
  • Satellite earth observation
  • Electronics
  • Sensors and photonics
  • Robotics and Autonomous systems
  • Quantum Technologies

Compound Semiconductor Applications will be in scope for this round.
