Come join the KTN Microbiome Special Interest Group Webinar on 12th May from 13:00-14:00.

This event is an opportunity to hear from David Weinkove, from Magnitude Biosciences, who’s talk is titled: “Using healthspan readouts to understand mechanism in the microbiome.

Magnitude Biosciences is a unique CRO that uses the nematode C. elegans to achieve whole organism animal outputs at a fraction of the time and cost of rodent experiments. We have developed technology that produces quantitative non-invasive assessment of healthspan and other health measures. The nematode C. elegans is cultured on live bacteria and multiple studies have shown that the genetics of the bacteria influence the health of the animal. In this presentation, I will describe our research findings and our offer to the microbiome field. I hope to get your input on how best to use our technology.
