Bridging for Innovators (B4I) aerospace and automotive event, 28 February, London: speakers announced

Representatives from the Aerospace Technology Institute, Oxsensis and Briggs Automotive Company will be among the line-up for this event.

If you work in the aerospace or automotive supply chains and have a product, manufacturing or process performance issue, Bridging for Innovators could be the solution; and an unmissable event coming to the Royal College of Physicians, London on 28 February will give delegates the chance to explore how B4I could help their company by accessing world-leading facilities for free.

The event’s agenda features key speakers from different facilities within the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and KTN’s Connected and Autonomous Vehicles specialist, George Filip.  Alongside them will be Nour Eid from the Aerospace Technology Institute, Richard Sharp from Cobham RAD Europe Ltd, Ian Macafee from Oxsensis, Will Drury from Ricardo, Phil Boden from Getrag Ford Transmissions and Neill Briggs from Briggs Automotive Company.

This event in the B4I roadshow series is aimed at the aerospace and automotive sectors and attendees will have the opportunity to see how B4I can help speed up manufacturing times, reduce energy output and boost productivity by solving innovation challenges.  It will also have relevance for those working in the manufacturing, materials, design, Connected Autonomous Vehicles (CAV), powertrain, electronics and chemistry sectors.

B4I gives successful applicants the chance to access advanced analytical technologies, and STFC offers supporting expertise and capabilities to companies through its large-scale science facilities located at various campuses around the UK including Harwell, Daresbury and the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh.

Delegates will have the opportunity to talk to world-leading scientists, understand how to access leading-edge research infrastructure and hear about government strategies, Grand Challenges and funding opportunities.
