Business Forward: Innovation and Resilience Drop in Clinic

Are you looking for support to sure up the sustainability of your business or plan to grow but don’t know where to turn?

 

Starting Thursday 30th January, The Women’s Organisation will be running monthly Business Innovation and Resilience Clinics to give you the opportunity to get the advice you need to ensure your business can sustain and grow.

 

The Business Forward clinics will be available to tenants of 54 St James Street and the wider business community and will host a team of business experts, who’ll be on hand with advice to help you sustain and grow your business.

 

Advice will be available on:

  • Business Finance
  • Business Planning
  • Marketing
  • Business Strategy
  • Sustainability
  • Innovation funding and support

 

Whatever support your business needs, they can give you on the spot advice or signpost you to someone who can help you further.

 

All clinics will be held at 54 St James Street, L1 0AB the last Thursday of each month:

Thursday 30th January 2020 – 09:30-12:30
Thursday 27th February 2020 – 09:30-12:30
Thursday 26th March 2020 – 09:30-12:30
Thursday 30th April 2020 – 09:30-12:30

 

**Drop in sessions are open to any business looking for advice to grow. Each drop in spot will be 15 minutes**

THE TEAM

Siwan Smith 

Within the Knowledge Transfer Networks Access to Finance and Funding team, Siwan delivers the KTN‚Äôs Diversity and Inclusion programme, including providing business support for Innovate UK‘s Young Innovators and Women in Innovation programmes.

She ensures that her communities get the support and funding they need by building strong networks to connect people to relevant support, funding and investment networks. Siwan is an experienced Member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing and has a wealth of knowledge across a wide range of sector areas, to deliver real growth.

Ali McGrath

Ali has been an Enterprise Enabler working with The Women’s Organisation for over 12 years to support women in Merseyside and Greater Manchester to start and grow their business enterprise.

Natalie Hughes

Natalie has over 12 years’ experience in banking and has spent the last three years specialising in business development. An ambassador for women in business she holds an accreditation in NatWest’s Everywoman program which supports female business owners to turn their dreams and ambitions into a reality.

Following the Alison Rose review into Female Entrepreneurship, Natwest has developed the Expert in Residence. Natalie has been selected as the Expert in Residence for the Liverpool City with aims to encourage collaboration and to deliver positive action by supporting and profiling diversity and inclusion in business. Natalie was also awarded the Women in business champion award 2019 from The Women’s Organisation in October of this year.

Jennifer Gallagher 

Director at commercial law firm Freeths, Jennifer specialises in all aspects of corporate law, including merges and acquisitions (ranging from large multinational companies listed on various stock exchanges to SMEs) and private equity (acting for investors, founding shareholders and management teams).

Having spent 6 years at a large global law firm and a further 4 years at an international firm based in Dubai, Jennifer has extensive experience of UK and UAE cross border merges and acquisitions, shareholders’ agreements and implementing complex and high value joint ventures, corporate sales and acquisitions.

Business brokers

The business brokers have years of experience helping businesses across the Liverpool City Region and Manchester to grow. They will be able to advice you on issues you’re currently facing and connect you with resources or opportunities to help you achieve and maintain a successful business.
