Delaying both the opening and closing of some competitions by one month

Innovate UK’s response to Covid-19 disruption is outlined below.

 

Statement from Innovate UK:

As you are aware, Innovate UK is expecting to need to run some urgent priority funding programmes in response to Covid-19. We are also expecting a significant number of our 2,500 live projects to request urgent changes to their projects, following the creation of a fast track process to facilitate “no-cost” time extensions requests of up to three months, for reasons relating to Covid-19.

We believe it is a priority to support businesses who are experiencing challenges related to Covid-19. Therefore, to allow us to prioritise the project change requests and support the new competition, we will be delaying both the opening and closing of some of the current and upcoming competitions for one month from 3 April.

 

The new dates will be reflected in KTN’s funding pages and news stories associated with individual competitions.

 

Alongside the competition delay, Innovate UK has launched a fast response de minimis competition to support business-led innovation in response to the global disruption caused by Covid-19.
