Apply to participate in the EFIB programme – deadline 15th May 2019

EFIB is providing limited speaking slots for companies using industrial biotechnology to develop novel and sustainable technologies, products or processes. Selected companies will have the chance to deliver a brief presentation of their most promising innovation in front of high-level industry decision makers.

John Sime Award for Innovation

The “John Sime Award for Innovation” will be presented for the best presentation of the most innovative idea responding to societal and environmental challenges. John Sime was a passionate advocate of innovation in bio-based technologies, with many years of experience working in technology transfer in earlier incarnations of the Knowledge Transfer Network. In 2012 the Forum for Industrial Biotechnology and the Bioeconomy (EFIB) organisers dedicated an award in his memory, in order to recognise John’s commitment to both EFIB and the bio-based economy and to remember him as part of the event.
