Horizon 2020 ICT Information and Consortia Building Event: Presentations now available

On the 5th of September the Welsh Government, Innovate UK, KTN and EEN hosted a workshop on forthcoming Horizon 2020 ICT and Software related Calls.

The event was opened by Vanessa Davies from the Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) and provided background information on various Call topics and support available for both UK and European organisations in how to apply for funding and search for partners.

KTN hosted this event on behalf of Innovate UK, the Welsh Government and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and it was delivered by: Viola Hay, KTN; Stephen Alexander, National Contact Point for Legal and Financial Issues; Stafford Lloyd, National Contact Point for ICT and Future and Emerging Technologies,Innovate UK; Nick Batey, Expert Evaluator; Colin Upstill, NESSI / Information Catalyst; Wyn Meredith, Compound Semiconductor Centre; and Lawson Coombes, EEN.

The workshop gave an overview of H2020 ICT Call topics, and support available for UK organisations in how to apply for funding, as well as information on Brexit and the continuation of UK participation in H2020. This enabled attendees to gain an insight into the benefits of participating, guidelines for preparing a project outline and the support and collaboration tools available.

  • Introduction to¬†Networked European Software and Services Initiative (NESSI)
  • Introduction to Compound Semiconductor Expertise Wales
  • Introduction to the Collaboration Support Landscape

  • UK participation in Horizon 2020
