‘How to win funds and influence people’ is an evening lecture event hosted at The Royal Society of Chemistry at Burlington House in London on 22nd November by The Royal Society of Chemistry Management Group. The event shall take place from 18:00 – 20:30 with the aim of providing an introduction and overview of the wealth of UK and EU funding available to innovative organisations.

The lecture will raise awareness of funding opportunities offered by the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund and the Horizon 2020 programme for Research and Innovation. Ian and the teams that he has worked with have been responsible for securing over €160 million in funding in the last decade.

The other speaker is Ajay Kapadia, KTN’s Knowledge Transfer Manager for Advanced Composites. At KTN Ajay’s role involves supporting SMEs in the materials sector who are seeking to innovate by signposting them to funding, organising community events and reviewing funding applications.
