Innovate and grow your Cumbrian business
An information and networking event will take place on 30th October in Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership Conference Centre, Penrith.
The team will take you on a tour of the business support landscape to help you understand what support is available from the Innovate UK family of organisations and other national and local organisations to help you scale and grow your business effectively.
Join us for a practical exploration of the Innovation Canvas to challenge your thinking and find best practice models for innovation from shop floor improvements to the development of new products and services.
You will also hear from other companies within the region about their innovation journey and gain practical insights and knowledge about what they have learned along the way.
Individuals and businesses will be able to access specialist support through a range of networking and 1 to 1 appointments with experts from across the Innovate UK family and Cumbrian business networks.
This event is open to businesses, researchers and academic institutions working across a diverse range of sectors.
At the session, you’ll be able to:
- Discover more about the various forms of funding and support available from the Innovate Family including Innovate UK, KTNUK, EEN and the Catapult centres and others who support business innovation
- Explore KTN’s Innovation Canvas framework, a set of tools to challenge current thinking and define innovation for your business
- Network with other businesses and Cumbrian business networks
- Meet advisors who can help you navigate the innovation landscape as well as make valuable business introductions
