Innovators wanted to apply for a mission to JSAE 2019

Expressions of interest are being called for from CAV and Zero Emission Vehicle innovators to apply to attend JSAE 2019 from 22-24 May in Japan.

The 2019 JSAE (Japanese Society of Automotive Engineers) Annual Conference is the largest automotive technology conference in Asia attracting 80,000 visitors over three days.  Following a successful mission earlier this year where 10 companies were chosen to join the UK Pavilion stand, Innovate UK will be participating in next year’s event.

Innovate UK will be taking leading edge CAV and Zero Emission Vehicle companies of any size that would significantly benefit from showcasing their innovative technology in Japan.  To position the UK as the country for supporting innovation, the organisers of the mission are particularly interested in companies that can link their technologies back to Innovate UK, the APC or a similar funding body.

Successful applicants will participate in the UK congress session at JSAE 2019 with the potential for subsidised travel to Japan for congress speakers.  There will be significant company exposure and the opportunity for mission participants to showcase their technology and present technical papers to the Japanese Society of Automotive Engineers.
