KTN and Innovate UK to host Horizon 2020 Proposal Writing Workshop Series

There are three workshops taking place, each one specific to funding areas.

Horizon 2020 is the European Union’s Research and Innovation Programme with the 2020 Space Work Programme representing a budget of around €220million.

 

KTN, in collaboration with the National Contact Points, are pleased to invite you to join a one day Proposal Writing Workshop designed to take your proposal from “good” to “great” with insights and advice from experienced individuals. There are three events covering different topics (Food and Natural Resources, Transport and Batteries, and ICT, Robotics, Future and Emerging Technologies, and Photonics) and these are detailed below.

 

Aim of Workshop:

To give participants ‘Hints and Tips‚Äô for collaborative proposals to help those involved in writing proposals (or sections of proposals) gain valuable extra marks. The course will be delivered by experienced participants / evaluators in Horizon 2020.

 

Who should attend?

The workshop is aimed at improving proposals which are already under development, as such, participants should already have basic understanding of the requirements of a Horizon 2020 proposal. The workshop is open to

i) UK companies and
ii) RTOs and universities working in partnership with UK companies in a proposal.

N.B: Please make sure you identify exactly which call for proposal(s) you are considering submitting a proposal for. One of the aspects we will cover in depth during the workshop is understanding and meeting the Scope of the topic and so some preparation would be helpful.

10 December 2019, Manchester: H2020 Proposal writing workshop FNR and Circular Economy (Deadline to apply: NOW CLOSED)

21 January 2020, London: H2020 Proposal writing workshop Transport and Batteries (Deadline to apply: 9am on 6th January 2020.)

4th February 2020, London: H2020 Proposal writing workshop ICT Robotics  (Deadline to apply: 9am on 24th January 2020.)
