Leicester Innovation Week: Now is the time to innovate!

Posted on 20/10/2017

Ambitious, growth-oriented businesses invited to innovation workshops focussing on Textiles, Food & Drink and Logistics.

Innovation is key to business growth and profitability, but as a business, you may find it difficult to understand the support available and how to access it. To promote the routes to innovation and the benefits to business, Innovate UK is partnering with Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) and three local universities: Leicester, Loughborough and De Montfort on a series of events for SMEs in the East Midlands region.

These events will provide you with information about both national and local opportunities and support to help your business expand and prosper.

If you are a business in the textilesfood and drink or logistics sectors, help your business thrive by attending one of our free Innovation Week 2018 events.

Benefits of attending:

•   To help you understand where to go for innovation funding and practical advice on what is available.

•   Expert insight into future trends

•   Connect with potential collaborators

•   Access to expert business advisers

•   Understand what is required in writing a successful grant application.

The events are aimed at smaller companies who do not usually look to government agencies and universities for support.

Who should attend?

If you are an ambitious business, committed to growth and interested in understanding how innovation delivers growth and productivity, you should attend. Innovate UK is holding 3 morning events, and there is a different industry focus for each one (textiles, food & drink and logistics) so that you can attend the event that is tailored to your sector needs.
