Ministry of Defence seeking innovative technologies to apply to remote surveillance devices.

The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) Solider Training and Special Projects (STSP) Special Projects Search and Counter Measures (SPSCM) team has a possible future requirement to seek Concept, Proof of Concept, Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) and near COTS technologies which could be applied to a remote surveillance device.

The MOD SPSCM team want to find Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs) and are looking to understand any recent developments in the technologies that might be applied to this electronic surveillance challenge. The team are seeking confirmation as to whether their current plans are realistic and deliverable, to inform their procurement strategy and to highlight areas of interest that may be explored in a Technology Demonstrator Programme (TDP).
