MMIP Annual Conference 2019
Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership Annual Conference to take place in Sandwich, Kent, on 20th June 2019.
The third Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership (MMIP) Annual Conference will be on Thursday 20th June, hosted by Pfizer at the Discovery Park in Sandwich, Kent. The conference will explore how the UK can continue to be recognised as a world-class advanced centre for medicines manufacturing. MMIP is holding this event in partnership with the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), the BioIndustry Association (BIA), KTN, Pfizer and the Discovery Park.
The key themes of the conference are:
- The potential of advanced digital technologies to transform medicines manufacturing
- What is needed to anchor medicines manufacturing in the UK.
There will additionally be a session on apprenticeships and education, as well as the opportunity to tour the site to visit other relevant companies.
The event is aimed at those involved in managing the manufacturing of medicines and conducting research into medicines manufacturing processes, particularly in the UK. Over 150 delegates will be expected on the day – the event is free to attend, but places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
