Get incubator support for your innovation project using photonics

Are you a European company working on an innovation project using photonics? If so, you could get support from ACTPHAST 4.0, an incubator with a mission to accelerate Photonics Innovation for SMEs.

Who can apply?

ACTPHAST 4.0 is keen on supporting small- and medium-sized enterprises, including start-up micro-enterprises of less than 10 employees.

The incubator will also support large-scale companies, especially if photonics is not your core business and you are innovating with photonics for the first time.

Why apply?

  • Top photonics experts
You will get access to a network of over 200 top photonics experts and the state-of-art technology platforms from leading European research institutes.
  • Lower barriers to innovation
You will be matched with the best experts for your specific needs, get help with the paperwork, and receive subsidies for your project.
  • Faster time-to-market
The incubator focuses on innovation projects which can be completed quickly in 6-9 months.

What is the application process?

Step 1: Check that you are eligible

Step 2: Register your interest and have your project proposal evaluated

Step 3: Once the project proposal has been evaluated by experts, an evaluation meeting takes place, and if this is successful, you will receive support.
