Showcasing how genomics data can advance bioscience

The EI Innovate event at the Earlham Institute in Norwich on 13 November will offer talks, networking, discussion groups and tours.

 

The Earlham Institute (EI) is hosting an event to showcase their capabilities and expertise in genomics, bioinformatics, synthetic biology, crop phenotyping, and high-performance computing. The event will highlight how they are developing solutions to global issues through their advanced capabilities and expertise in genomics and bioinformatics – improving global food security, environmental management, conservation, health and wellbeing.

This event will be of interest to attendees across public and private organisations utilising genomics, bioinformatics, high performance computing, data analysis, machine learning techniques in the agri-food supply chain, biotech, medical diagnostic, digital healthcare, precision medicine sectors; organisations developing lab instrumentation, tools, products, and services for bioinformatics, genomics, and data analysis and integration; organisations working in the biodiversity and conservation sectors, as well as organisations that deposit and curate biological materials and gene banks; botanical gardens and zoos; as well as funders, investors and government bodies investing in research and innovation in life sciences and adjacent technologies.

Through a programme of talks, networking, discussion groups and tours, the event will improve awareness of the full range of the Earlham Institutes’¬† research and capabilities, and help you to fully understand the opportunities for collaboration with EI.¬† The full programme has now been announced and can be viewed here.
