The Wales Festival of Innovation starts today!

Over the next two weeks, the Festival which is made up of over 25 events around Wales will showcase Welsh innovation and entrepreneurship.

From 15th June to the 29th June, events that have been curated and developed by businesses, innovators and academics will showcase innovation across a variety of industries from food production to big data. With events across the whole of Wales, the festival will give attendees a flavour of innovation activity throughout the country.

Autolink 2019

19/06/2019, Cardiff

Organised by the Welsh Automotive Forum and supported by Welsh Government, Autolink 2019 will focus on Innovation, Supply Chain opportunities and Government support.

Food and Drink Product Innovation

18/06/2019, Llandysul

For existing or new businesses, food industry experts at The Food Centre Wales will be on hand to discuss how you can overcome the barriers to getting your product to market.

Genetics and Genomics for the 3rd Generation (‘3G’) Public Conference

20/06/2019, Cardiff 

A conference for members of the public about genetics and genomics-related research and advances. There will be a programme of short talks from expert speakers, as well as interactive stands for the public to enjoy.

Workshop to discuss UKRI Strength in Places Fund & potential for Wales

20/06/2019, Llandudno Junction

The Welsh Government would like to invite university, industry and public sector leaders to come together to understand the opportunity and discuss areas that could benefit from this type of funding in Wales. There will be an opportunity to garner insights from Wave 1 and discuss ideas with Welsh Government, HEFCW, Innovate UK and the KTN.

Women in Engineering 2019

International Women in Engineering day is an international awareness campaign to raise the profile of women within the engineering professions and to highlight the opportunities that STEM careers can offer.
