Trevor is the Knowledge Transfer Adviser for Humberside, South Yorkshire and East Yorkshire.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships programme promotes business led, open innovation by connecting companies with academic expertise to enable them to grow their business. Trevor looks after businesses supporting their projects with knowledge bases in many parts of the country. Trevor also maintains relationships with a number of designated universities in relation to their participation in the programme.

Trevor has over 30 years’ experience of working in academia, in businesses of varying sizes, and in science and innovation policy development and implementation at a Regional, National and European level. In these roles, he has worked across many sectors, and acquired many skills involving managing, developing and motivating individuals and teams to achieve their objectives.

Trevor has a particular interest, and expertise, in the use of Technology Roadmapping to build collaborations between businesses and the knowledge base. He has facilitated roadmapping activity in thematic areas as diverse as Nanoparticles in Formulation Technology, Environmental Technologies and Communication Satellite Technologies.
