Karen Wilkinson

I am a Knowledge Transfer Manager in the Health team, focussing nationally on Healthy Ageing, as well as representing Innovate UK Business Connect Health in the Yorkshire and Humber region on a broader range of health-related applications such as digital health and medical technologies.

I am one of Innovate UK Business Connect’s representatives on the Healthy Ageing Challenge Community of Practice, helping connect innovators in this sector to share ideas and best practice. My key skills and experience lie in digital health, assistive technologies, medical devices, medicines manufacturing and clinical trials.

I joined Innovate UK Business Connect in 2019 from the University of Sheffield, where I managed industrial research collaborations, and IP development for medicine, health and care research. Prior to this I worked for 15 years in the pharmaceutical sector, managing international clinical trials.
