Profile overview

Simon began his career in pharmaceuticals, and holds a degree in Applied Chemistry. Before joining the KTN in 2013, he was business development manager for the Food and Environment Research Agency (an executive agency of Defra) in York, where he was responsible for increasing income from Non-UK Government organisations through the creation of new offers and the application of scientific skills and approaches in the food industry. At KTN, Simon helps to drive innovation by connecting the food and industrial biosciences sectors.
