Profile overview

Sophie is a Knowledge Transfer Manager for International & Development. She is responsible for the delivery and management of the Knowledge Transfer Network’s international programmes, facilitating research and innovation collaborations with key economies around the world.

Previously Sophie worked for an International Development consulting company responsible for the delivery of multi-stakeholder, overseas development assistance programmes across a range of sectors and countries. She held the role of the Programme Coordinator for one of the UK Department for International Development’s first trilateral cooperation programmes to effectively triangulate UK Aid with Chinese South-South cooperation.

Sophie has lived and worked in East Africa. She holds an MSc in International Development from University of Bath and a BSc in Economics from University of York.
