The future of food is on show in Birmingham and Sheffield

Innovate UK and KTN are hosting two Food Industry Innovation 2020 events.
The Birmingham event, taking place on 25th February 2020, will concentrate on food technology innovation around plant-based and alternative proteins.
The Sheffield event is happening a few days later on 27th February 2020 and will highlight food technology innovation around reduction, repurposing and elimination of food waste.
The two events build on last year’s success, which saw more than 100 people and 15 exhibitors attend the London showcase. Both events will showcase some of the best FoodTech innovations funded by Innovate UK, providing inspiration for other innovators. Expert speakers will discuss challenges faced in their industries and potential solutions.
The events are a great opportunity to find out about the opportunities offered by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and to hear from FoodTech companies working on solutions across key areas for the industry.

- Trade associations
- Academics with an interest in applied research with the food industry
